Moneybagg Yo was recently hit with news he most likely didn’t expect to get on Thursday (April 28). According to news circulating online, the Memphis rapper’s ex, Kennedy Lynette a.k.a. Chyna Santana, reportedly passed away, leaving behind three kids she shares with him.

Word of Santana’s passing hit social media after a friend of the mother of three tweeted about the loss. It’s unclear what led to Santana’s passing as it happened so suddenly.

“Im so sickkkk,” someone named Jessica Summers wrote on Facebook. “Im heart hurting so bad dude. I was just otp with you my sister. Why you had to do me like that.!!!!! Kennedy Leynettee why you leave me.”

Moneybagg Yo has yet to comment on the recent loss and may not respond to it, given the weight of the tragic loss. However, the rapper won’t be going through it alone as his girlfriend Ari Fletcher will be by his side, someone he’s dated since January 2020.

In March, fans thought there was trouble in paradise when Moneybagg and Ari stopped following each other. However, the Collective Music Group rapper made it clear a week later he was still going strong with Ari while also dissing the media while he was at it.

Chyna actually voiced her frustrations with the couple after Moneybagg bought Ari a customized Lamborghini Urus for her birthday in July 2020. According to the Memphis rapper’s ex, she was with him before he got with Ari.

“I gotta let these hoes know,” she said. “Y’all tryna make it about Ari – bitch it’s about the n-gga. I ain’t mad about no bitch. And damn right I feel some type of way about that muthafuckin’ Lambo. Bitch, you only been fucking with this hoe nine months. I was just with this nigga nine months ago.”
