Haitian DJ and producer Michael Brun shared his latest single “Baby Who,” a sultry Caribbean-tinged R&B jam featuring Montreal-based singer Shay Lia.
The track, set to appear on Brun’s forthcoming EP Melanin, sees Lia’s airy vocals float across Kompa-infused production. “Take you to the moon / give the stars a show,” Lia sings on the song’s hook.
Boasting features from artists including Nigerian artist Kah Lo, Shirazee, and Naika, Melanin drops on February 12. Brun’s last album LOKAL, with appearances from Mr Eazi and Major Lazer, dropped back in 2019.
