Mets pitcher Marcus Stroman and Blue Jays outfielder Randal Grichuk appear to be airing out some grievances on Twitter.

After some baseball fans notified Stroman that Grichuk liked a tweet from retired MLBer Aubrey Huff claiming the then-Blue Jays starter kicked 30 minor leaguers out of the weight room during spring training last year, Stroman said he wasn’t surprised.

“Huff and Grich are probably best friends,” Stroman wrote. “This doesn’t surprise me one bit. Lol Canada will never tolerate racism though!”

The 43-year-old Huff has been involved in multiple controversies over the years, including criticizing his former team for hiring a female coach. The Giants did not invite Huff to their 10-year reunion of the 2010 World Series team because of what the team felt were “unacceptable” Twitter posts.

Grichuk, who was teammates with Stroman in Toronto for a season and a half, asserted that the weight-room story was true and fired back.

“I did not like the tweet because (Stroman) liked tweets bashing me last year,” he said. “This is nothing personal. I liked it because it is true. It’s a (known) story around players in the (Blue Jays’) team/system.”

Stroman, 29, vehemently denied that he ever treated minor leaguers that way, calling the story “completely false” and asserting that Grichuk was lying. He also addressed Grichuk directly.

“You’ve done nothing but talk about me behind my back. Consistently,” Stroman said. “I’ve always kept my mouth shut and let it slide. Ask YOUR teammates and Canada who they rather have on their team … you or me. I already know the answer. Continue to underachieve and talk s–t about teammates!”

The two former teammates continued to go back and forth, with Grichuk telling Stroman to “keep thinking that’s true. Don’t be mad at me because I liked a tweet that was the truth. Have a good day my man.”

“My day is beyond great,” Stroman responded. “Good luck playing for a nation that now knows your true colors. Have a splendid day my G!”

After a fan chimed in to tell both players he wasn’t fond of either of them and claiming that Stroman’s “antics” were getting “lame after a while,” the 2019 All-Star continued to defend his character.

“Antics? Explain,” Stroman wrote. “I’m extremely passionate and always compete at a high level. Should I shut up and pitch? I’m not allowed to have a voice at all? I’m African-American/Puerto Rican. It’s in my blood to carry myself the way I do. That’s how my parents raised me!”
