As the fans know, September 18 is the birthday of Meiko “Menma” Honma in the Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day anime franchise. On her birthday this year, a memorial book titled “Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day 10th Anniversary Illustration Book” will be released from Ichijinsha as part of the franchise’s 10th anniversary project.
The A4-size (210mm x 297mm) book contains various copyrighted illustrations drawn for the TV anime series and the film, magazines, goods, events, and collaboration campaigns, as well as nterviews and comments from staff and voice cast members. Its cover illustration featuring Menma is newly drawn by the anime’s character designer/chief animation director Masayoshi Tanaka. The price is 3,500 yen (32 USD).

The project also includes the “ANOHANA 10 YEARS AFTER Fes.” event to be held at The Prince Chichibu Memorial Civic Hall in Saitama on August 28, 2021
