Megyn Kelly lashed out at “disgusting, shameful billionaire” Kim Kardashian for not severing ties with high-end fashion brand Balenciaga in the wake of its controversial photo shoot in which young children are seen holding dolls outfitted with BDSM garb.
Kelly told her Sirius XM audience tuning in to “The Megyn Kelly Show” on Tuesday that Kardashian is at fault for “refusing to disassociate from the brand even though she’s a billionaire.”
“She’s a disgusting, shameful billionaire because the money is worth more than her morals and the protection of these children to her,” Kelly said.
The former Fox News star said the Balenciaga photo shoot amounts to “sexualization of children” and that it is “titillating to pedophiles.”
The Post has sought comment from Kardashian’s representatives.
The high-end fashion brand — whose roster of celebrity endorsers includes A-listers such as Kardashian, Dua Lipa, Ye (the rapper also known as Kanye West) and Hailey Bieber — has come under fire over the controversial photo shoot.
The shoot included images of two young girls holding stuffed animals dressed in bondage gear.
One photo shows a ginger-haired girl wearing a Balenciaga T-shirt while holding on to a white teddy bear. The doll was dressed up in a vest with a padlocked choker around its neck.
Another image shows a brunette child brandishing a purple plush animal that was adorned with similar BDSM attire.
Kardashian broke her silence earlier this week after she and other celebrities were slammed for not speaking up and condemning the brand.
The reality TV star said she was “re-evaluating” her relationship with Balenciaga after she was left “shaken by disturbing images.”
“I have been quiet for the past few days, not because I haven’t been disgusted and outraged by the recent Balenciaga campaigns, but because I wanted an opportunity to speak to their team to understand for myself how this could have happened,” the 42-year-old mogul began her lengthy Twitter thread.
“As a mother of four, I have been shaken by the disturbing images. The safety of children must be held with the highest regard and any attempts to normalize child abuse of any kind should have no place in our society — period,” she continued.
“I appreciate Balenciaga’s removal of the campaigns and apology. In speaking with them, I believe they understand the seriousness of the issue and will take the necessary measures for this to never happen again.”
“As for my future with Balenciaga, I am currently re-evaluating my relationship with the brand, basing it off their willingness to accept accountability for something that should have never happened to begin with — & the actions I am expecting to see them take to protect children,” she ended the thread.
Balenciaga removed the ad campaign and issued an apology.
“Our plush bear bags should not have been featured with children in this campaign,” the fashion house said in a statement.
“We have immediately removed the campaign from all platforms.”
Kelly has been a frequent critic of Kardashian. She accused her family of being a “force for evil” because they flaunted “unrivaled vanity.”
