McDonald’s Corp. said Friday that it is bringing back the McRib for a limited time starting Dec. 2.
The sandwich will be available for a limited time on a nationwide basis, the first time the item has been available across the country since 2012.
The McRib launched in 1982 and has become a favorite among fans since. It’s made with boneless pork, barbecue sauce, onions and pickles.
McDonald’s limited-time menu has had a number of big names on it lately. The fast-food giant introduced a meal named after Grammy-nominated rapper Travis Scott, which gave September sales a bump.
And this month, McDonald’s launched a collaboration with reggaeton artist J Balvin.
