Matthew McConaughey’s oldest son is all about that surf life!
The 53-year-old father of three took to Instagram Thursday to share a gnarly glimpse of his 14-year-old son Levi’s back, which was totally covered in surfing war wounds! The pic, aptly captioned, “surf souvenirs,” showed the celeb kid’s right shoulder blade and lower back completely gauzed up, as well as a bandage just to the left of his spine. Yikes! See (below):

If anything, the Oscar-winner’s post showed off just how dangerous the water sport can be because of reefs and the impact from crashing — and how serious the McConaughey clan is about it!
Fans quickly flooded the comments with their own takes, and lots of celebration for Levi, writing things like:
