Sega celebrates Miku Day with new Japanese pricing.
Total shipments and digital sales for Hatsune Miku: DIVA Diva Future Tone (including Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone DX) have surpassed 550,000 units worldwide, Sega announced.
Digital edition sales of Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone are a total of the sales for the “Future Sound” and “Colorful Tone” add-ons, as the base game is free.
The game was last reported in March 2020 to have moved 450,000 units worldwide.
To celebrate the sales milestone, as well as “Miku Day” (March 9), the price of Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone DX has been changed to 3,900 yen on the Japanese PlayStation Store. Since Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Future Tone DX includes both “Future Sound” and “Colorful Tone,” which previously cost 3,900 yen each, the two add-ons will no longer be sold separately.
