#Mariah Carey Announces AppleTV+ Christmas Special, Plus New Song With Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson

Mariah Carey has announced a new Christmas special, set to debut on AppleTV+ on December 4. Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special will include musical performances and animation sequences and feature appearances from Ariana Grande, Jennifer Hudson, Snoop Dogg, and more. The special will be accompanied by a soundtrack featuring a new version of Carey’s “Oh Santa!” featuring Grande and Hudson, plus more reinterpretations. Check out Carey’s announcement below.

This year, Carey released the compilation The Rarities, as well as her memoir, The Meaning of Mariah Carey. In 2019, her holiday single “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” from the album Merry Christmas, hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time—25 years after its release.
