Marc Jacobs appears unfazed after his LA store is looted

Looters smashed up and raided the Los Angeles Marc Jacobs store — but the designer seemed unfazed by the damage.

Video posted to Twitter shows one glass door of the Melrose Place designer store completely smashed and another partly damaged, with the spray-painted message, “F–k capitalism.” The inside of the store appears near-empty.

The large placard reading “Marc Jacobs” at the entrance had the designers’ name replaced with those of George Floyd — the black man whose police-custody death in Minneapolis sparked national outrage last week — and Sandra Bland — the black woman who was found hanged in her Texas jail cell in 2015, days after being detained by cops during a traffic stop.

The label — and the 57-year-old designer himself — both posted a photo of the placard Sunday with the caption, “A life cannot be replaced. Black Lives Matter.”

Earlier, Jacobs posted a message saying, “NEVER let them convince you that broken glass or property is violence….Property can be replaced, human lives cannot.”
