“#MAPPA Animates Jump Special Anime Festa OVA Boukyaku Battery”
This weekend will see the first of two virtual events for Weekly Shonen Jump this year, Jump Special Anime Festa 2020. The streamed event will see information for three Jump anime series being released, and one brand new OVA for Shonen Jump+ manga series Boukyaku Battery, which MAPPA announced on their Twitter account to be helming with You Don't Know Gunma Yet episode director Parako Shinohara directing the OVA. MAPPA released the first visual of Boukyaku Battery.

Joining Parako Shinohara at MAPPA will be joined by character designer and animation director Noriko Ito (Kakegurui sub-character designer), and art director Hisako Akagi (Weathering with You background artist). Jump Special Anime Festa 2020 will be streamed on the official Jump YouTube Channel from 1 PM to 4 PM JST on October 11, giving everyone the chance to check it out.
