#Mandy Moore is Expecting Her First Daughter
Mandy Moore‘s brood is expanding.
Today, the multi-hyphenate announced on Instagram that she’s expecting her third child with husband Taylor Goldsmith with an Instagram post. Moore shared the news with a photo of her two sons holding hands while wearing shirts that read “Big” and “Middle,” respectively.
“Sometimes life imitates art. The Third is our own Big Three coming soon. Can’t wait for these boys to have a baby sister,” Moore wrote in the caption.
Her former This Is Us co-star Chrissy Metz was among the first to celebrate the big news, commenting, “Mannnnndyyyyyy!!! Awwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!! Congratulations!!!”
Back in October, Moore teased her plans to have a third child while appearing on the Today show.
“I’m one of three [children] so I just can’t imagine a world without siblings and I always knew if I were lucky enough to have a family, I would love to have more than one,” she said. “But I didn’t realize that when the second one came out, I’d be like, ‘I think I can do this again.’ My husband thinks I’m crazy.”
When asked by Hoda Kotb if she thought she could still have another child, Moore confirmed that she had “not closed that door.”
She added, “I mean, just talking during the commercial break about cribs and preschool and all those things, I’m like…ugh!”
Moore welcomed Augustus, nicknamed Gus, in February 2021. Months later, she became pregnant again with Oscar, nicknamed Ozzie. He was born in October 2022.
