The shooting broke out around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday outside 421 Bainbridge St. in Bedford-Stuyvesant, police said.
The victim is expected to survive and no arrests have been made, cops said.
The latest act of gun violence comes as Gotham deals with a surge in shootings over the last 13 weeks.
On Monday, 62-year-old Edward James was shot dead just after 5 p.m. in front of Glorious Church of God on Halsey Street near Marcus Garvey Boulevard in Bedford-Stuyvesant, cops said.
