#Man on scooter hit, killed by Amazon truck in NYC

A man on an electric scooter was struck and killed by an Amazon truck driver in the Bronx Saturday evening.

The accident happened around 7:15 p.m. on East Tremont Avenue in the Van Nest section, police said.

Both the delivery truck and the scooter were traveling east on the busy thoroughfare before the deadly collision, according to cops.

The unidentified 22-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene, according to officials.

The Amazon driver was not charged with a crime, police said.
