One person was killed and five others injured early Wednesday when at least two gunmen opened fire outside a Brooklyn apartment building, cops said.

The violence erupted at around 2:10 a.m. in front of the building on President Street near Franklin Avenue, about a block away from the Brooklyn Botanic Garden in Crown Heights, cops said.

A 30-year-old man was shot in the torso and was rushed to Kings County Hospital Center by private means, where he was pronounced dead. His identity has been not yet been released.

A 52-year-old woman taken to the same hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg, and is listed in stable condition, officials said.

At the scene, responding police found a 25-year-old woman and 19-year-old man, both shot in the butt, another 19-year-old man shot in the back and a 35-year-old man shot in the arm.

EMS rushed two of those victims to Kings County, and two to NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, where they are all in stable condition.

The shooting stemmed from a dispute, though the nature of that squabble is unclear, police said.

No arrests were immediately made.

The incident comes amid a recent surge in shootings citywide.

On Tuesday, a total of 10 shootings were reported with 13 victims, cops said early Wednesday.
