A 38-year-old man is in critical condition with head trauma after an apparent mishap with his Revel scooter in Queens, police said.
The victim was discovered around 5:30 a.m. lying on the pavement on Steinway Street near 31st Avenue after someone called 911.
It’s unclear if the man fell off the scooter or if he was hit by a vehicle that fled the scene, cops said.
The victim was taken to Elmhurst Hospital. No arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing.
The accident comes days after Revel suspended 1,000 users for safety violations.
