#Man fatally shot on Queens sidewalk

A 29-year-old man was fatally shot on a Queens sidewalk Wednesday, police said.

The victim was shot in the head on 108th Street near Van Doren Street in Corona at about 5 p.m., according to cops.

When police arrived, the man was unconscious and unresponsive.

EMS took the victim to Elmhurst General Hospital, where he was declared dead.

No arrests were made in the slaying as of early Thursday, police said.
