Dante Sartillian was blasted in the chest on Warren Street near 40th Road in Elmhurst around 11:40 p.m., authorities said.
He was rushed to Elmhurst Hospital by private means, where he was pronounced dead.
The slaying comes amid a spate of shootings across the city in recent weeks.
About two hours before Sartillian was killed, an 11-year-old boy was shot in the right leg around 9:45 p.m. on East 29th Street near Avenue D in East Flatbush, Brooklyn.
The shooter, who was driving by in a car, discharged a number of rounds in the victim’s direction and took off, police sources said Wednesday. It remained unclear if the boy was the intended target.
He was taken to Kings County Hospital Center in serious but stable condition.
