It was a hair-brained scheme.

A customer revolted UK restaurant owners after allegedly sprinkling his pubic hairs into the food to avoid paying the bill, as seen in a gag-inducing video first published by the Lancashire Telegraph.

“It was disgusting and a disaster,” said Ahmed Waseem, 47, owner of Jaan’s BBQ Kitchen Restaurant and Grill in Blackburn, where the hairy incident transpired, the Daily Star reports.

Two 20-something customers had reportedly ordered almost $90 worth of food, despite staff warning them that it would be too much for two people to consume. Things went further south when the check arrived, and the customers complained that there was someone else’s hair in their food.

A subsequent investigation by staff revealed that there was indeed hair on the “biryani, kebabs and the naan breads,” according to the manager.

Suspecting something was awry, Waseem checked the security-cam footage, which shows the customer in a backwards cap twice reaching into his shorts and ripping out fistfuls of an unseen material. He then proceeds to dump it over the dishes while a fellow bozo guffaws at his antics.

At that point, the manager claims he confronted the culprit about his grotesque garnish scheme, which sparked a 10-minute argument, during which the customers swore at the staff.

The spat concluded with the patrons chucking $26 at them and leaving, according to the manager.

Suffice it to say, Jaan’s employees said they were “shocked” and “disgusted” by the dirty deed.

On Tuesday, it was reported how footage from Jaan’s BBQ Kitchen Restaurant and Grill, Charlotte Street in Blackburn, showed two men with a variety of curries and kebabs in front of them.

The gross incident was particularly damaging for the restaurant, which had opened for just a day last month after being shuttered over coronavirus concerns.

“It has not been an easy time for businesses,” said the manager, noting that if they “didn’t check the camera that day, then there was no way of finding out the truth.”

Local politician Suleman Khonat seconded their sentiment. “In the current climate, a lot of businesses have gone extra mile to help the residents and some had to shut for various reasons,” he told This Is Lancashire. “The last thing anyone wants to see is something like this — especially in a food place.”

The manager has since reported the incident to police, who claim that it’s a civil matter.  Fortunately, the public has implored local businesses to identify the men in order to prevent the crime from happening again.
