“#Male VAs Return for More Spooky Storytelling in the Summertime”
Telling ghost stories is a summertime tradition in Japan, and now it has been revealed that a new season of Seiyuu ga Kataru Kowai Hanashi (“Scary Stories Spoken by Voice Actors”) will broadcast on Mainichi Broadcasting System and will stream on Youtube beginning in July of 2021. The new season is entitled Seiyuu ga Kataru Kowai Hanashi Dainimaku (“Scary Stories Spoken by Voice Actors, Act 2”), and it features performances by:
- Nobuhiko Okamoto as the Jet-Black Ghost Story Specialist.
- Tatsuhisa Suzuki as the Asiatic Dayflower Ghost Story Specialist.
- Sōma Saitō as the Indigo Ghost Story Specialist.
- Kaito Ishikawa as the Citron Leaf Ghost Story Specialist.
- Gen Satō as the Moon-White Ghost Story Specialist.
- And Shin’ichirou Kamio as the Flaxen Ghost Story Specialist.
Seiyuu ga Kataru Kowai Hanashi Dainimaku will broadcast on Mainichi Broadcast System on Fridays during the 26:22 time slot (actually on Saturday morning at 2:22am JST) beginning on July 02, 2021. The series will also stream on Youtube with episodes being release at 19:00 (7:00pm JST) beginning on July 02, 2021. Seiyuu ga Kataru Kowai Hanashi Dainimaku is scheduled to run for 12 episodes in total.
