#Magia Record Season 2 Gets New Trailer, July 31 Release Date

Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story 2nd Season has received a new trailer, which previews the ending song “Lapis” by TrySail along with scenes from the upcoming anime. It was also announced that the anime will premiere on July 31.

The anime’s summer release window was announced on June 10 with a visual.

Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story ’s first season premiered on January 4, 2020 with 13 episodes. It is based on the mobile game by f4samurai, which is inspired by the 2011 Puella Magi Madoka Magica anime. Crunchyroll describes the anime as:

In exchange for the fulfillment of a wish, Magical Girls keep fighting, unbeknownst to the rest of the world. But Iroha Tamaki can’t seem to remember her wish. “When I became a Magical Girl, what did I wish for again?” There is a gaping hole in her life. Something important has been lost. The anime’s staff includes Gekidan Inu Curry (Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story) as chief director and series script supervisor, Yukihiro Miyamoto (Puella Magi Madoka Magica series director) as assistant director, Junichirō Taniguchi (Madoka Magica chief animation director) as director and character designer, Akiyuki Simbo (Puella Magi Madoka Magica director) as animation supervisor, and Takumi Ozawa as music composer. SHAFT is producing the anime.

Meanwhile, the cast includes Momo Asakura as Iroha Tamaki, Sora Amamiya as Yachiyo Nanami, Shīna Natsukawa as Tsuruno Yui, Ayane Sakura as Felicia Mitsuki, Yui Ogura as Sana Futaba, Mikako Komatsu as Momoko Togame, Ayaka Ohashi as Kaede Akino, Kaori Ishihara as Rena Minami, and Kana Hanazawa as Kuroe.
