#Maggie Gray joining CBS Sports Radio after WFAN shakeup

Maggie Gray is transitioning from local to national radio after the latest shakeup at WFAN.

As The Post’s Andrew Marchand first reported on Thursday, Maggie Gray and Marc Malusis have been replaced on the station’s midday program by Tiki Barber and Brandon Tierney.

On Friday, Gray announced on Twitter she will be moving to CBS Sports Radio in January. She will host an afternoon drive program with Andrew Perloff, a longtime contributor to “The Dan Patrick Show.”

Gray had been at WFAN since 2017. She was originally part of the show known as “CMB,” with Chris Carlin and Bart Scott. That show replaced Mike Francesa’s program during afternoon drive-time, then moved to middays when Francesa unretired. Carlin and Scott eventually left for ESPN New York and Gray was paired with Malusis.

CBS Sports Radio and WFAN are both owned by Audacy (formerly Entercom).

On Friday, Dan Patrick gave Perloff, who had been on his staff for 12 years after joining the show from Sports Illustrated, a heartfelt farewell.

“I’m happy for you,” Patrick said. “You got something where you’re going to be a co-host with Maggie Gray, who we like. You get an opportunity doing big boy things hosting a radio show.”
