#Love, Victor is now streaming on Hulu

Love, Victor is now streaming on Hulu just in time for Pride Month

If you’re looking for new LGBTQ content to consume during Pride Month, Hulu has you covered. Love, Victor is now streaming as of Wednesday, June 17. All 10 episodes of the first season are available to be watched as you see fit!

The Love, Simon spinoff series was originally slated for Disney Plus before it was moved to Hulu due to its reported mature content. That wasn’t the only shake-up the show has had so far as Love, Victor is premiering two days ahead of schedule. This is because Hulu wants June 19, historically known as Juneteenth, to be properly observed in wake of what is transpiring across the world.

Love, Victor is telling a new, but similar story

Love, Victor follows the titular character portrayed by Michael Cimino as he navigates what it’s like moving from Texas to Georgia with his Latinx family all while trying to figure out who he is. Victor finds himself at the same school that Simon Spier attended, which leads to the two connecting via social media.

Victor is envious of Simon’s ability to seemingly come out to his family and friends without much trouble. Victor’s situation is a little bit different as he’s a basketball player who finds himself involved with a popular girl. He also doesn’t want to inconvenience his parents’ struggling marriage with his own identity crisis.

Just like any other teen drama, Victor will have an array of new, unique friends that will be along for the ride on his journey. He’ll also encounter familiar faces from the Simonverse with Simon’s boyfriend, Bram Greenfeld (Keiynan Lonsdale), confirmed to make an appearance, while Simon’s presence will be felt as a narrator.

The cast boasts a number of recognizable names with Ana Ortiz, James Martinez, Bebe Wood, Mason Gooding, Rachel Naomi Hilson, Sophia Bush, and many more portraying key roles in Victor’s life.
