#Love Live! Superstar!! Season 3 Debuts in 2024

The third season of the Love Live! Superstar!! school idol series will premiere sometime in 2024, it has been announced. The new season was revealed in October 2022.

It was also announced that the Love Live! Superstar!! Liella! 5th Live concert will be held in Fukuoka and Tokyo early next year. The Fukuoka performances will be held on January 20 and 21 at the West Japan General Exhibition Center, while the Tokyo performances will be held on February 10 and 11 at the Musashino Forest Sport Plaza. 

Love Live! Superstar!!‘s first season premiered in July 2021, while the second season premiered in July 2022. The show is one of several anime spawned from the Love Live! multimedia franchise that began in 2013. The first season follows five freshmen in the Yuigaoka all-girls high school who form the Liella idol group, with the second season adding four new main characters.

Season 3 will see the introduction of Wien Margarete (Na Yui) and Tomari Onitsuka (Sakura Sakakura) to the anime. The two characters were announced in April of this year as Liella’s third-generation of idols, along with the news that the now 11-strong Liella roster will be divided into three units.

Love Live! Superstar!!‘s cast originally consisted of Sayuri Date as Kanon Shibuya, Liyuu as Tang Keke, Nako Misaki as Chisato Arashi, Naomi Payton as Sumire Heanna, and Nagisa Aoyama as Ren Hazuki. They were later joined by Nozomi Suzuhara as Kinako Sakurakoji, Akane Yabushima as Mei Yoneme, Wakana Ookuma as Shiki Wakana, and Aya Emori as Natsumi Onitsuka. 

Meanwhile, the staff for both seasons includes Takahiro Kyougoku as director, Jukki Hanada as series composer, Yuuhei Murota as original character designer, Atsushi Saitou as character designer, Reiji Kasuga as art director, Rie Katou as color designer, Yuuki Iinuma as CG director, Tadashi Kitaoka as photography director, and Yoshiaki Fujisawa as music composer. Sunrise is credited for the animation production.
