During the live-streaming program hosted by the select members of Aqours (Love Live! Sunshine!!), Nijigasaki High School Idol Club (Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club), and Liella! (Love Live! Superstar!!) last night, Aqours announced the launch of “We Are Challengers Project.”
The PV for the project’s yet-titled theme song will be the first live-action PV for the unit’s nine members. The theme song and its PV will be included in “Aqours CLUB CD SET 2021” to be released sometime in 2021.

“We Are Challengers Project” also features a multi-development of “Genjitsu no Yohane -SUNSHINE in the MIRROR-,” an illustration project that has been serialized in the “LoveLive!Days” magazine since its 11th issue published in December 2020.

As part of their fifth-anniversary project, Aqours will release their new single “smile smile ship Start!” with an anime music video on March 31, 2021. The single’s first press limited edition will come with a “5th Anniversary Thank You Card” by Aqours members randomly. The price for the single with the bonus Blu-ray including the full music video is 4,500 yen (42.85 USD) and that for the single with the bonus DVD is 3,500 yen (33.33 USD).
