Love Live! Nijigasaki Movie’s 2nd Part Gets Key Visual, November 7 Premiere

A key visual has been released for the Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club Kanketsu-hen Dainishou (Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club The Movie – Finale – Chapter 2) movie. It was also revealed that it will premiere in Japan on November 7 JST.

The official social media caption for the visual says that the new movie takes place at the same time as last year’s Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club The Movie – Finale – Chapter 1 and features Kyoto, Osaka, and Kobe as its settings. The premise is still related to the Idol GPX (Grand Prix), and it seems that the focus of the new film will be on Setsuna, Ai, Rina, Mia, Karin, and Shioriko.

Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club Kanketsu-hen is a trilogy that takes place after the two-season Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club TV series and its OVA. The first movie saw Ayumu, Kasumi, Shizuku, Kanata, Ema, and Lanzhu heading off to Okinawa for the Idol GPX, a competition where idols compete for rankings individually and utilize a streaming app.

Bocchi the Rock! character designer Kerorira had a visual director credit for Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club The Movie – Finale – Chapter 1.

The Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club TV anime’s seasons aired in 2020 and 2022, while the OVA was released in 2023. Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club is one of the titles in the Love Live! multimedia franchise.
