Kaguya-sama: Love Is War -Ultra Romantic- is ending next week with a special 1-hour finale episode. The anime production team has released a new key visual and PV trailer for the special. 

The trailer compiles clips from previous seasons of Kaguya-sama: Love is War, as well as some scenes from this season’s student festival arc. It also highlights some new moments between Kaguya and Miyuki during the 1-hour special. 

The anime’s first two seasons aired in 2019 and 2021 respectively. It is based on the manga series of the same name by Aka Akasaka, which began on May 19, 2015 and has released 26 tankoubon volumes in total so far. The manga series is currently serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump under the Young Jump Comics label. Viz Media releases the manga in English for North America.

The returning voice cast includes Aoi Koga as Kaguya Shinomiya, Makoto Furukawa as Miyuki Shirogane, Konomi Kohara as Chika Fujiwara, Ryouta Suzuki as Yuu Ishigami, Yumiri Hanamori as Ai Hayasaka, and Miyu Tomita as Miko Iino.

The third season’s staff includes Mamoru Hatakeyama as director, Yasuhiro Nakanishi as series composer, Yuuko Yahiro as character designer, Risa Wakabayashi as art director, Kanako Hokari as color designer, Masaharu Okazaki as photography director, and Kei Haneoka as music composer. Additional returning staff consists of Hiroshi Yakou, Yuuko Hariba, and Kii Tanaka (Kaguya-sama: Love is War Season 2) as chief animation directors. A-1 Pictures is handling the animation production once again. 

The fifth episode of Kaguya-sama: Love Is War -Ultra Romantic- features a special ending theme song titled “My Nonfiction” by Makoto Furukawa and Konomi Kohara respectively.
