A 19-year-old Louisiana rapper was gunned down by members of a rival group of MCs — who were arrested days later after a high-speed chase, cops said.

Michael Brock, of the rap group Three-13, was shot dead last week as he answered the door at an apartment in Bogalusa – where he’d been in hiding after getting social media death threats, according to police.

“There were other people present in the apartment, including a 7-year-old child who was in the same room with Brock during the hail of gunfire, but the child was miraculously not shot,” the Bogalusa Police Department said in a press release on Friday.

Tauj Taplin, 19, opened fire at point-blank range with an AR-15 and hit Brock multiple times on June 7. He hopped into a getaway car driven by 19-year-old Quardavion White, cops said.

Taplin and White are members of the rap group The Fours – and White is suspected of having ties to the gang Gangster Disciples.

There were “a lot of bullets,” police Capt. David Miller told TV station 4 WWL.

“He thought maybe he could come to Bogalusa and lay low a little bit and apparently, they followed him here,” Miller said.

Brock, who was from nearby Kentwood, had fled to stay at the home of a relative of his girlfriend, cops said. Investigators ID’d the alleged shooter and getaway driver through surveillance footage and police intelligence within 24 hours, the release said.

But the pair were on the run – until three days after the killing, when they were pulled over by cops in Anahuac, Texas on Thursday.

White told police his name was Tommy Butler and when he was asked to get out of the 2017 Nissan Maxima, he allegedly told Taplin to make a run for it, Texas’ Chambers County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post.

“Taplin jumped in the driver’s seat of the vehicle and fled the scene while the driver resisted arrest,” the post said.

A high-speed chase ensued, with Tapin possibly trying to ram some patrol cars before he was finally arrested after crossing back into Louisiana, police said.

Bogalusa Police Capt. Miller lamented the situation to 4WWL.

“Now you have a 19-year-old young man that will never live his life and two other 19-year-old young men that may very well spend their life in jail,” Miller said.

“What did that solve? It didn’t solve anything.”
