The rumors are true: After releasing a teaser last week, Lizzo and Cardi B finally dropped their highly anticipated “Rumors” song collaboration, accompanied by a music video depicting the rapping duo twerking on a faux Mount Olympus while decked out in gold-plated finery. The raunchy vid currently boasts over 1.8 million views (and counting) since it dropped late at midnight Friday morning.

The 3-minute clip features the plus-sized 33-year-old flutist and the 28-year-old “WAP” singer strutting about the halls of a palatial Greek set while addressing rumors about them that have swirled around the pop culture sphere.

“All the rumors are true, yeah / What you heard that’s true, yeah / I f–k him and you, yeah,” raps Lizzo — real name Melissa Viviane Jefferson — while sporting a gilded dress and claw-like manicure. Later on, the three-time Grammy winner spits out, “No, I ain’t f—ked Drake yet,” in reference to speculations that she hooked up with the hip-hop icon.

The clip later cuts to a baby-bump-sporting Cardi B — who is currently pregnant with her second child with her husband Offset — as she sits atop a penis-inspired throne too ostentatious for even Caligula. During her scintillating verse, the “Hustlers” star pokes fun at the backlash she and collaborator Megan Thee Stallion received following their raunchy performance of “WAP” during the 2021 Grammy Awards.
