Faye Webster’s “Feeling Good Today” is a song for those moments when you realize that, actually, things are going O.K. right now. Webster, her voice layered with vocoder, outlines the simple things that contribute toward a good day (“I ate before noon” and “I got paid yesterday” being all she seemingly needs) over a delicate mix of piano and guitar.

“Feeling Good Today” will appear on Webster’s new album Underdressed at the Symphony, which is due out on March 1. It follows the previous singles “But Not Kiss,” “Lifetime,” and Lil Yachty collaboration “Lego Ring.”

The song comes with a companion video directed by Pooneh Ghana that features the septuagenarian TikTok star Lili Hayes. Online, Hayes’ persona is a surreal mixture of Supreme-sporting grandma who, by her own admission, is “always a little pissed.” In the video, she wears a mask of Webster’s face as she makes her way through a typical day.

Following the release of Underdressed at the Symphony Webster will play three dates in Florida and one in Alabama before heading out on a longer stretch of shows in May. See below for her full 2024 schedule.
