The official start of summer is just a few days away, which also means we’re inching closer to the restart of the NHL season. It’s time for a brand new episode of the “Up In The Blue Seats” podcast with former Ranger Ron Duguay.

Ron opens the show joined by NY Post sportswriter Mollie Walker. Mollie chats about the NHL’s plans for the Rangers to play in Las Vegas in July when they return to training camp for their playoff series with the Hurricanes. She also talks about the other potential hub city options in Canada.

NY Post Rangers beat writer Larry Brooks drops by to look back to the 1994 Stanley Cup champion Rangers. Brooks breaks down what it was like being on the Devils beat at that time and the feel in their locker room in the Eastern Conference finals when New Jersey fell to the Blueshirts.

One of the defenseman on those ’94 Rangers, Jay Wells, then joins Ron and Larry. Wells talks about Neil Smith bringing him to New York, the championship year after struggling the season before, tension between Smith and head coach Mike Keenan and the unsung heroes of that Stanley Cup-winning squad.
