Lil Tjay took to Instagram on Monday (December 27) to give fans a preview of a new Polo G assisted track he’s been working on, and during the snippet implied that he might just be the GOAT.

“I ain’t saying I’m the best but I don’t see nobody close, n-ggas getting smoked!” Tjay wrote in the caption. “Tryna compete with me “adios”…uhh ohh… spam the comments if ya think me n @polo.capalot should drop this.”

The 20-year-old rapper has been trying (and succeeding) in roping in A-listers for collaboration, and it seems he’s got another one in the bag with Polo G. He recently shot his shot with Cardi B on December 19, asking that they link up and record a hit together.

“I ain’t gon lie @iamcardib [what’s the word] we the 2 hottest in the city rn,” he wrote on Twitter while asserting he and Cardi are the hottest rappers out of New York. “idk it feel like u ducking or sum.”

After his tweet started to go viral, Cardi B ultimately responded.

“Send me some,” she wrote, to which Tjay quickly replied, “Say less” with a handful of fire emojis.

“LOL It’s litt, BINNG BONGGG !” Tjay later tweeted out.

Tjay already had a stellar 2021, with the 6LACK-assisted “Calling My Phone” peaking at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 earlier this year. He also secured high-profile collaborations with J. Cole, Moneybagg Yo, French Montana, YG and the late Pop Smoke.

As for Cardi B, the mother of two has long promised that her highly-anticipated sophomore album will arrive at some point in 2022.
