#Let’s Make A Mug Too Season Two Trailer Released

The second season of Let’s Make A Mug Too (Yakunara Mug Cup mo Niban Kama) has received a trailer, which previews the opening song “Muchuu no Saki e” by MUG-MO in addition to scenes from the upcoming sequel.

The anime, which will premiere in Japan on October 1, also received a visual as well as an announcement of new cast members. The cast additions include Aya Uchida as Rio Matsuse, Sally Amaki as Valdés Himena, and Ari Ozawa as Himena Toyokawa.

Set after the first season’s Minoware Contest, Let’s Make A Mug Too‘s second season sees Himeno eager to make even greater works, while Tōko, who was unable to win the contest’s top award, is unusually absentminded. The story will include encounters with new friends through pottery, the story of the birth of “That Work” by Mika, the bond between Himeno and Naoko, and Tōko’s secret wish. With various experiences, Himeno and her friends began to search for what they truly wish to create.

The returning staff from the first season includes Jun Kamiya as director, Naruhisa Arakawa as scriptwriter and supervisor, Ayano Yoshioka as character designer and chief animation director, and Tomoki Hasegawa as music composer. Nippon Animation is once again the animation production company.

Meanwhile, the main cast members include Minami Tanaka as Himeno Toyokawa, Yū Serizawa as Mika Kukuri, Yūki Wakai as Naoko Naruse, and Rina Honnizumi as Tōko Aoki.

Let’s Make A Mug Too is based on the manga by Osamu Kashiwara, which began in 2012. A second manga based on the anime adaptation began serialization on Manga Cross in January 2021. The first season included a live-action component featuring the story’s setting of Tajimi.
