#LEGOLAND Hotel Rooms Will Turn to Google for Concierge Service – Review Geek

If you want people to get familiar with your product, then stick it in every hotel room you can find. That’s the idea behind Google’s Hotel Solutions system, which promises to improve hospitality services using Nest Hub smart displays. Now, Google is partnering with LEGOLAND Hotels to help guests manage their stay and learn about LEGOLAND’s best attractions.

All LEGOLAND hotel rooms in California and New York now feature Google Nest Hubs (no word on Florida just yet). Guests can use voice commands to play music or podcasts from these Nest Hubs, or even set a hands-free alarm, all without signing into their Google accounts.

More importantly, guests can use voice commands to contact the front desk from their Nest Hub. If you want to order more towels or check out of your room, for example, you can just do it through the Nest Hub and skip using a phone. You can even ask the Nest Hub for local restaurant recommendations.

Of course, the Nest Hubs at LEGOLAND are full of fun LEGO content. Guests can ask Nest Hub when the park opens, use the device to have conversations with LEGOLAND characters, or take a virtual tour of the LEGOLAND theme park before heading out in person.

Google emphasizes that its Nest Hubs do not save audio data, and that guests can flip a small switch to turn off the smart display’s microphone. Of course, guests can always unplug the Nest Hub from the wall if they’re concerned about their privacy.
