“Loving You Here There Then Now Forever and After,” London captioned the post. “Long Live The King Ermias Asghedom Hussle Man.”
The actress and Neighborhood Nip began dating in 2013 and had one child together named Kross Asghedom in 2016. London’s comment section was flooded with heartwarming messages with the likes of T.I., YG, Lala Anthony, Kehlani, Angie Martinez and more sending their love.
West Coast rhymers and collaborators of Nip’s, such as YG and The Game, also shared tributes to the All Money In boss of their own.
Nipsey Hussle — born Ermias Asghedom — was shot and killed outside his Marathon Clothing Store in Los Angeles on March 31, 2019 at 33 years old. Nip’s alleged assailant, Eric Holder, pleaded not guilty and remains behind bars with his trial delayed and yet to get underway.
As far as a posthumous album from Nipsey on behalf of his estate, fans shouldn’t hold their breath. Nip’s brother, Blacc Sam, insists the only way a posthumous Hussle album would be released would be alongside an official documentary.
Following his death, Nipsey Hussle went on to win two Grammy Awards for his contributions to “Racks in the Middle” alongside Hit-Boy and Roddy Ricch for Best Rap Performance in 2020 and DJ Khaled’s “Higher” for Best Rap/Sung Performance.
Rest in peace, Nipsey.
