#Demon Slayer’s Universal Studios Attraction Includes Virtual Reality Ride

Demon Slayer Universal Studios Japan

Last month it was revealed that Koyoharu Gotouge’s Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba was inspiring a new attraction at Universal Studios Japan. More details recently popped up, including info on three of the experiences fans can look forward to when the attraction opens this September.

One of the key centerpieces is a VR ride, which will cover the events of the Mugen Train movie while incorporating immersive XR technology. There’s also a collaboration with the Hollywood Dream – The Ride rollercoaster, which will be Demon Slayer themed with two original stories to be developed over time. The first goes live on September 17 with a comedic story complete with commentary from Tanjiro and other Demon Slayer characters.

Finally, fans can get in on a Demon Slayer training challenge rally, which will be held around the park and include various training opportunities throughout. Participating will net attendees a special booklet and armband.

The Demon Slayer attraction will run at Universal Studios Japan in Osaka from September 17, 2021 to February 13, 2022
