#Lambchop Announce New Album TRIP, Share Wilco Cover: Listen

Lambchop have announced a new covers record. Titled TRIP, the album includes six cover songs, each selected by a different member of the band. The LP is out November 13 via Merge in North America and City Slang worldwide. Listen to Lambchop’s version of Wilco’s “Reservations” and see the full tracklist below.

In addition to songs popularized by the Supremes, George Jones, and Stevie Wonder, TRIP includes “Weather Blues,” a previously unreleased song written by Yo La Tengo bassist James McNew.

Last year, Lambchop released the full-length This (Is what I wanted to tell you) in the spring before following it with the Basement Tapes EP in October.
