#Laid-Back Camp Gets Serious About Pest-Borne Disease Prevention

“#Laid-Back Camp Gets Serious About Pest-Borne Disease Prevention”

Laid-Back Camp (known as Yuru Camp in Japan), the TV anime based on the cozy camping manga by Afro, is teaming up with Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare in an educational awareness campaign that seeks to inform would-be campers on how to minimize the dangers of contracting a mosquito-borne or tick-borne illness while roughing it in the wilderness.
The campaign features two posters (above) with Rin and Nadeshiko offering tips such as using personal bug repellant spray and covering up exposed skin so that ticks and mosquitos will have a harder time finding a place to bite. Chikuwa also appears with anti-tick strategies for pets. The posters can be downloaded in PDF format from the official website for the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare. Stay safe out there, campers!
