#Kristin Chenoweth Marries Musician Josh Bryant

Kristin Chenoweth is married.

The singer-actress tied the knot with musician Josh Bryant on Saturday in Dallas.

For the ceremony, the bride wore a pink floor-length Pamella Roland gown with a large bow in the back. For the reception, she changed into a pink cocktail dress, also by Roland, with a large bow in the front, and wore pink Nike sneakers.

“Simple and elegant. I never thought I’d get married, so I went very nontraditional with the gown. I love it,” Chenoweth told People of her color choice.

At the reception, guests were reportedly served specialty cocktails including one given the name “Wicked Margarita,” which was a reference to Chenoweth’s starring role as Glinda the Good Witch in the Broadway hit musical Wicked.

Chenoweth and Bryant reportedly first met in 2016 at a wedding for her niece where Bryant’s band, Backroad Anthem, performed. His band also performed two years later at her nephew’s wedding.

“We had become friends by this time, and that’s when he came on strong,” Chenoweth told People. “Josh asked me where I was going to be playing next, and it was North Carolina. I said, ‘I’m busy. I don’t have time, da, da, da.’ And he shows up to the concert and that was it for me.”

The couple got engaged in October 2021. They reside in both New York and Nashville, she said.

Chenoweth’s recent credits include Schmigadoon! and Bros.
