#Kobe Bryant Immortalized in ‘NBA2K24’ Release and It’s on Sale for Black Friday: Here’s Where To Get the Game Online

Kobe Bryant‘s legacy is being remembered in a special edition of NBA2K24, the best-selling basketball game for Nintendo, PlayStation and Xbox.

For Black Friday, the NBA 2K24 Kobe Bryant Edition for PS5 and Xbox Series X is on sale, apiece, for $30, or half off, at Amazon, as the latest release in the annual video game franchise. The athletes chosen to appear on the cover of the game are always a hotly-debated topic (last year’s NBA 2K23 cover featured Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns) but this year’s cover art is a no-brainer, with No. 24 fronting the 2024 edition.

In addition, the Nintendo Switch, PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game are also on sale for $30, or half off, at Amazon.

The fan-favorite series honors the hall of fame basketball player with spectacular cover art, enhanced graphics and responsive gameplay across consoles. 

NBA 2K24 Kobe Bryant Edition pays tribute to the “Black Mamba” with his signature skills, legendary performances and iconic swagger.

In the game, you play as Bryant during his early days as an up-and-coming basketball phenom to become one of the NBA’s all-time greatest players. The game also features up-to-date team rosters, next-level gameplay with realistic visuals, a card-collecting mode with hundreds of customizable options and much more. Meanwhile, “ProPLAY” is a new immersive feature for NBA 2K24. It converts real NBA film footage into actual gameplay for a more realistic experience.

Bryant was a five-time NBA champ and 18-time all-star. He tragically died with his 13-year-old daughter Gianna in a helicopter crash in January 2020.
