#Knicks’ trade talk feat. Quentin Richardson

The Knicks enter the second half of the season as the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference. If you said that before the season, people would laugh at you. With 35 games to go in this pandemic-shortened 72-game season, the Knicks have a very good chance of making the playoffs. They might not even have to worry about the play-in games if they finish in the eight-to-10 range, if they keep playing the way they have been. Will the Knicks continue their impressive play?

• Coach Tom Thibodeau and the front office have done a great job with this Knicks team.
• Change in the NBA game and all the 3-point shooting. Q-Rich would love to play in today’s NBA.
• Memories playing with Knicks and then making a return in 2013 on the 54-win team. Playing alongside Marcus Camby, Jason Kidd, Rasheed Wallace, Carmelo Anthony, J.R. Smith.
• If you make a name for yourself in New York, there’s no place better. The city will put you on a pedestal unlike anywhere else if you win here.
• Trade at the end of his career that sent him to the Raptors along with Camby, Steve Novak and a first-round pick for Andrea Bargnani. Was waived by the Raptors, but still got paid to never play.

This Day in JYD History: JYD takes us back to 3/9/96 on the 25th anniversary of his Georgetown team losing to UConn in the Big East Championship at MSG. JYD missed a layup that would have won the game at the buzzer.
