Kliff Kingsbury’s job rumors isn’t the only thing that appears to be heating up.
The Cardinals head coach, who has been loosely tied to the Oklahoma vacancy after Lincoln Riley’s departure, is said to be back with a former flame, model Veronica Bielik, according to Awesemo.com.
A source tells the sports site that Bielik, who has over three million Instagram followers, “is back in the picture.” She also follows Kingsbury, 42, on Instagram and vice versa.
Bielik and Kingsbury were first linked last October. He previously dated former Fox Sports broadcaster Holly Sonders.
On the professional front, Kingsbury is currently in his third season with the Cardinals, who are sitting atop the NFC West at 9-2. They face the Bears (4-7) on Sunday.
Earlier this week, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Kingsbury’s name had been floated as a potential replacement for Riley at Oklahoma, per league sources. The report seemed to capture most of the internet’s attention, including Cardinals star J.J. Watt.
“Killin’ it on the field and at the negotiating table,” the defensive end tweeted. “I see ya Kliff!”
Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray also addressed the speculation surrounding Kingsbury on Wednesday.
“I know Kliff. I don’t really buy into it,” Murray said, according to The Arizona Republic. “I think he’s got a pretty good job right now.”
