Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes have had their Clerks characters of Jay and Silent Bob immortalized in six feet tall Funko Pops.

Kevin Smith loves nothing more than sharing a good Instagram story about his upcoming projects. His latest post was not directly about his current project, but about the one that he completed last year, Clerks 3, and a pair of giant Funko Pops that were revealed in the likeness of the characters of Jay and Silent Bob from the movie. The two huge figures were revealed at Jay and Silent Bob’s Secret Stash comic shop in Red Bank, New Jersey, where fans can visit the pair in a fake Quick Stop Groceries store that has been set up as part of the promotion for the upcoming Clerks threequel.

Jay and Silent Bob have appeared in many of Smith’s projects from Clerks to Chasing Amy and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back among others, and the pair will be played by Smith and Jason Mewes once more in Clerks 3, which will be released next year. With the two six feet tall figures now immortalizing the comedy creations with the signature look of Funko’s figures, there is no doubt that fans in the area will be happy to nip along and get a snap or two with the larger than life pair in anticipation of the movie’s arrival.

It has been a busy time for Smith recently, with his revival of Masters of The Universe on Netflix, and his time spent directing episodes of The Flash and Supergirl, but his labor of love on Clerks 3 is where all the attention is at now, and while there is no set date for the movie’s release, it is expected sometime in mid-2022.
