Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Future, and numerous others have been transformed into Marvel superheroes thanks to a creative fan.

Instagram user Dunnie West shared his Hip Hop-meets-comic book creations on Monday (January 9), which also featured Lil Baby as Captain America, Travis Scott as Spider-Man, 21 Savage as Iron Man and Childish Gambino as Doctor Strange.

Kendrick was redesigned as Black Panther — a fitting choice considering K. Dot helmed the Black Panther movie soundtrack in 2018 — while Future and Drizzy were reimagined as Daredevil and Thor, respectively.

“I had some fun and asked myself what would it be if rappers played superhero roles,” West wrote in the caption. “Working with the AI this time was interesting, I had to spend a lot of time giving it certain details to build the characters how I see in my head. Definitely a learning experience.”

While it’s unclear if any of the superstar rappers have seen their superhero counterparts, this is far from the first time Hip Hop and the Marvel Universe have collided.

In November, Eminem was graced with his own Spider-Man comic book cover to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his film 8 Mile.

On the cover, the Detroit rap icon’s B-Rabbit character can be seen battling Spider-Man onstage, while a number of familiar faces from the Marvel Universe populate the crowd, including Miles Morales, Daredevil, Luke Cage and Ghost-Spider.

The cover was created by acclaimed artist Salvador Larroca, who has previously designed covers for the X-Men comic books.

“I’ve always been a huge Spider-Man fan since I was a kid,” Eminem said. “He’s definitely in my top 5… So being on a cover battling Spider-Man is such a thrill and an honor.”

He added on Instagram: “‘Like Spider-Man crawlin’ upside of a wall’ HONORED to be on the official variant of The Amazing Spider-Man (2022).”

The Weeknd also launched his own joint comic book with Marvel in 2017 to chronicle the journey of his Starboy character.

“He’s a cool, dope character that makes appearances a lot on the album,” the XO crooner said at New York Comic-Con. “He’s definitely made his appearance in different records in the past as well. He’s a more braggadocious character that we all have inside of us.”
