Kendrick Lamar And SZA Continue To Dominate Billboard Hot 100 With 'Luther'

Kendrick Lamar and SZA are continuing to completely dominate the Billboard Hot 100 as “Luther” remains atop the chart for a tenth week in a row.
The duo have broke a longstanding record by being the first solo male and female artist to rule atop the chart for 10 weeks, surpassing Lionel Richie and Diana Ross “Endless Love” which was number one for nine weeks in 1981.
“Luther” also becomes only the 47th song to be number one on the chart for at least 10 weeks – a feat only 4% of all chart-toppers have achieved.
In the last week, “Luther” has notched up 68.4 million radio airplay impressions and 21.9 million streams across all platforms while it also sold another 2,000 official copies.

Despite originally being released in November, the song’s radio airplay continues to increase though streams are beginning to slow down for the mega hit.
Elsewhere in the top 10, Drake‘s “Nokia” fell one place, from three to four, following a previous peak at number two.
Kendrick has been breaking records left and right over the last year.
He also recently smashed a touring record as his and SZA’s Grand National tour began in Minneapolis last week.
The tour’s first night saw Kendrick break Eminem‘s previous record of highest-grossing rap concert.
According to Touring Data, the opening night in Minneapolis grossed over $9.1 million from more than 47,000 fans at an average price of $192.70.
This means that Kendrick can now boast that he has the single highest grossing Hip Hop concert of all time, surpassing Eminem’s record from when he played in Melbourne, Australia in 2019.
It is also the first ever rap concert to break the $9 million barrier.
The concert in Minneapolis was also the most attended gig for both Kendrick and SZA outside of festival performances.
