Keke Palmer is a proud new mother!
The 29-year-old and her boyfriend Darius Jackson now make up a family of three after they welcomed their baby boy into the world over the weekend. So great!!!

The Emmy-winning star took to Instagram on Monday afternoon to confirm she had given birth almost exactly 48 hours before, on Saturday, to a baby boy. They also gave fans exactly what they wanted — in addition to a face pic, they revealed they gave the child a wonderful and powerful name: Leodis ‘Leo’ Andrellton Jackson.

In her IG reveal, Keke posted six slides in a picture carousel. The six pics took followers through a journey — from a shot of the couple’s first 48 hours as parents, to a video of Palmer singing El Debarge‘s Someone to her man in the car, to some SUPER sweet shots of the baby boy all bundled up and sleeping peacefully!!!
She wrote:
“Hey Son!!!!
1. Only 48hrs of being parents!
2. Darius always made me playlists when we first started dating, “Someone” by El Debarge was a favorite. We became each other’s someone and made a someone, look at God!
3. The baby love Rolling Ray, cause purrr.
4. “I’m not hiding the world from my son, I’m hiding my son from the world.” Hahaha
5. I’m just playing, my baby face is on this slide.
6. And this slide”
And Keke continued:
“Born during Black History Month, with a name to match! LEODIS ANDRELLTON JACKSON, welcome to the world baby Leo”
That sixth slide, by the way — the one Keke merely captioned “and this slide” — is by far the best of the bunch. ‘Cause it’s such an adorable shot of the baby boy’s super-sweet face!
