In addition to a short version music video, the official website for anime voice actress Kaori Ishihara (Luna Elegant in Demon Lord, Retry!, Tiese Schtrinen in Sword Art Online: Alicization) has posted two-version CD jacket photos for her sixth single “Plastic Smile.”

The pop song with a refreshing sound will be featured as the ED theme for the forthcoming TV anime adaptation of Shimesaba’s romantic comedy light novel series Hige wo Soru. Soshite Joshi Kousei o Hirou. / Higehiro: After Being Rejected, I Shaved and Took in a High School Runaway, in which she is also cast as one of its main characters, Yuzuha Mishima.

The photo for the first limited edition shows a visual that captures the moment before and after Ishihara’s smile. Meanwhile, the newly-drawn illustration for the standard edition expresses the anime’s heroine Sayu Ogiwara’s heartfelt smile.

Kaori Ishihara’s highly anticipated sixth single “Plastic Smile” is set to be released in Japan on April 21, 2021.

The TV anime Hige wo Soru. Soshite Joshi Kousei o Hirou. / Higehiro: After Being Rejected, I Shaved and Took in a High School Runaway is set to premiere on TOKYO MX, BS11, and AT-X on April 5, 2021. project No.9 (Didn’t I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life?!) works on anime production.

The first PV featuring the OP theme song “Omoide Shiritori” (Memory Word Chain) performed by the eight-member voice actress unit DIAROGUE+ is now available.
