#Kanye West Relationship With Model Irina Shayk Not 'Cooling Off' Despite Friend Zone Rumors

Kanye West and his relationship with model Irina Shayk is reportedly still going strong — despite rumors suggesting otherwise. 

On Wednesday (June 14), Page Six claimed a source said their romance was cooling off after Shayk allegedly turned down a trip with Kanye to Paris Fashion Week.

“She likes him as a friend, but doesn’t want a relationship with him,” the source said. “She doesn’t want the association that they are dating, which is what would have run in the press if she showed up [in Paris with him]. It would have been another month of news saying that they are dating.”

But according to TMZ, sources close to the couple have confirmed Kanye and Shayk are still very much an item. The couple reportedly spent the Fourth of July in San Francisco, dining at a restaurant called Mourad. Kanye then took off for Paris but apparently didn’t invite Shayk because it was such a short trip — he flew in and out the same day.

Kanye West was first spotted with Irina Shayk in June when they traveled to France to celebrate his 44th birthday, although they’ve supposedly been dating for months.

Kanye is in the middle of an amicable divorce from his wife of roughly seven years, Kim Kardashian, who filed in February. The couple has four children together — North, Saint, Psalm and Chicago — and plan on co-parenting them.
