The anime movie The Crocodile Who Lived For 100 Days (100 Nichikan Ikita Wani) has been delayed as a result of the COVID-19 situation in Japan. The TOHO website will announce the new release date after it is decided upon.
The Crocodile Who Lived For 100 Days is based on the manga The Crocodile Dies After 100 Days (100 Nichi Go ni Shinu Wani) by Yūki Kikuchi. The staff includes Shinichirō Ueda and Miyuki Fukuda as directors and scriptwriters and Seiji Kameda as music composer. TIA is in charge of the animation production.
Meanwhile, the cast includes Ryūnosuke Kamiki as Crocodile, Tomoya Nakamura as Mouse, and Subaru Kimura as Mole.
The Crocodile Dies After 100 Days manga was published on Twitter from December 2019 to March 2020 before being compiled into a single volume by Shōgakukan. According to Hon no Hikidashi (via Otaquest), it was the highest selling first manga volume of 2020.
