#Julia Louis-Dreyfus Seems to Be Clueless About a Potential ‘Seinfeld’ Reunion

Julia Louis-Dreyfus seems to know nothing about a potential Seinfeld reunion.

During a recent stand-up show in Boston, Jerry Seinfeld teased a possible reunion of the hit NBC sitcom.

When an audience member asked the comedian if he liked Seinfeld‘s ending, he responded, “Well, I have a little secret for you about the ending, but I can’t really tell it because it’s a secret. Here’s what I can tell you, but you can’t tell anybody: Something is going to happen that has to do with that ending. It hasn’t happened yet.”

“And just what you are thinking about, [Seinfeld co-creator Larry David] and I have also been thinking about,” he added. “So you’ll see.”

A reunion hasn’t been officially confirmed, and even Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who played Seinfeld’s ex-girlfriend Elaine Benes in the series, seems to be in the dark about whatever may be going on.

During a recent interview with The Guardian, published online Friday, she said, “Yeah, I just saw [that news] last night. And I don’t know what the hell he’s talking about.”

Louis-Dreyfus scored five Emmy wins for funniest supporting female performer in a TV series for her role in the show, which ran from 1989 and 1998.

In 2016, the actress recalled the emotional last day of taping Seinfeld following its nine-year run in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

“Oh my God, that was unbelievable, I have to say,” Louis-Dreyfus said at the time. “Talk about nostalgic. You know, I think we were all caught by surprise by how emotional we felt.”

She continued, “We used to do this thing before [the shoot]. We always would come together in a huddle, the four of us [Jerry Seinfeld, Michael Richards, Jason Alexander and Louis-Dreyfus], and put our arms around each other and just do a little getting-jazzed moment together. And on this night, we all got together and we all just started to cry. And it was very surprising. And I remember Jerry saying something like, ‘We’ll always have this and we’ll always be tied to one another, because of this experience.’”
